Aim for 3 Minutes or Less on Facebook, YouTube, and a podcast?
Three minutes or less. What do you think of me doing videos that are much shorter and to the point?
I got some feedback today from my client Gilles Brideaux. He said that his videos that are longer, people are just not watching them. The attention span is down to three to five minutes.

Is it possible for me to just make my point without the air conditioner coming on in the middle of it, and can I make it in under three minutes?
I'm interested to know, would you like some shorter format videos?
I am also interested to know, do you consider how long a video is before you watch it?
Do you see my video in the newsfeed and you think, "I'm not watching that for 20 minutes, Jerry. I get windy. I blow like a wind tunnel."
Is it better to give this a try?
I tried doing 15 minutes or less videos before. We are going to do ultra-short ones, really to the point, three minutes or less on the podcasts, the blog, YouTube and Facebook.
I value your feedback and I especially want to look for some feedback based videos where I'm asking for what you think of something instead of just blah, blah, blah-ing about what I think.
I'm grateful today that I see the value of continuing learning, continuing to test, continuing to grow, all the time keeping it fresh.

Shit buddy! I am one of those who actually enjoy read articles top to bottom including the whole comments sections too and consume videos no matter how long they are if the subject really interest me. In fact, I am one of those very verbose on my articles and posts too. And yeah, people indeed is too lazy to trot so long and explore deep enough as to find their holy grail that for many years they have been looking for.
Well, what we could say about that? Obviously it's their lost. So I really don't care how many are the ones willing to learn something new and useful through my crap. Therefore, better you just get used to the idea that only those who can endure and take the full trip are the chosen ones. The fortunate ones who belongs to your own tribe. };)
¡Happy Holidays! :)
Good one, Jerry. I always check the length before playing a video. Must be something really worth to click on a longer one and even then it's mainly skipping ahead. I know - fast food, fast fashion, fast consumption, fast video-ing.
Like your content, though.
If your video is less than 3 minutes on FB, you can't monetize them.
