Slavery and History - Wisdom is to leave the evidence

in #life7 years ago

As the controversy from the socialist left grows as to whether or not all reminders of slavery in America, the Confederate States, should be removed - We should remember what the Jews did. So, can we agree on one thing, within myth there is historical fact? History is history whether we like it or not? A record of events is a record.

As we walk across ancient Egypt, we see the statutes of the Pharaohs. And, we see that even though Israel has had much modern might and could have easily destroyed each and every remnant of ancient Egypt, they have not. Why not?

Why, unlike so many other persons and peoples who were enslaved by the ancient Romans, the ancient Babylonians, and the ancient Egyptians did the Hebrews write down for historical reference what happened and kept a record of it?

Should there be a record of the World War II? Should there be a copy, a historical catalogue of all that occurred? Why and why not? Like slavery, World War II had catastrophic and historic events occur of mass butchery and the domination of one people by another. Cities were leveled. People died in the hundreds of millions because of the war. The war upset the entire planet and was a waste of human effort to destroy human effort and yet we remember it?

The Civil War in the United States was called the most catastrophic war the United States ever fought. Four million American soldiers died to settle the question of slavery and the future of the government, the country of the United States. Records were not like the records of today. It is almost impossible that millions of civilians were not killed, maimed, lost property, and displaced by the Civil War - all without record.

The South and the North battled across the Mason-Dixon line, the national boundaries of the two sides. Are we expected to believe that each time an army crossed the border for war that they did nothing to the civilian population? Be serious.

History is a strange thing. With each moment, what happened in the past is lost little by little. The Chinese and the Russians no longer really remember who saved their asses. We in the United States are the hegemonic, decadent west. Literally, we could have sat it out and those two countries would be gone, their histories completely destroyed by the victors.

Get rid of the past, and what replaces it? Will it be something like what has occurred in the Soviet Union and China? Hey, what about North Korea? According to the ruling monarchs, the Kim's they saved Korea. All their people believe it or they are shot.

No, ridding oneself from the mistakes of the past, destroying the evidence of past injustices is a license for them to occur again. Let's look at the Russian Federation. Today, supposedly, after the people overthrew the Soviet Union, statues of Stalin are being put up all across the Russian Federation. Is it true?

Did the Russian Federation decide the past should be remembered or is it a sign that they revert to socialism and the removal of all freedom and liberty? See, the Russian Federation has a constitution much like that of the United States. Their liberties are guaranteed. Meanwhile, here in the United States, our income is chopped off from us in greater chunks by the left. Our paychecks are meaningless and like fascists, the money goes to an assortment of government defense corporations and education.

The government tried to tell us that there was global warming. Sadly, scientists like myself measured the opposite was true and that the heat escaped to the infinity of outer space. Yet, even though we know that there is no man made global warming, we are assaulted continually by the media, by those who have staked their incomes on fighting global warming, and those who are similar to those who watched two different weights dropped from the Leaning Tower of Pisa at the same time by a famous scientist - who was nearly executed for making the observation.

Not long ago, and the investigation most likely continues - A slavery or human trafficking cartel was busted in Los Angeles, California, United States of America which was national. So, slavery is back. Vigilance is required. And who wants all evidence of slavery removed?

My studies of the Theory of Social Evolution by Karl Marx have shown that the theory cannot be proved. There was little to no actual scientific observation for the creation of it, and that many of the observations that are considered evidence for the theory are not only completely incorrect but they are just plain out of order. Furthermore, three of the economic systems or modes of production are exactly the same, only technology has changed. Ancient Slavery, Feudalism, and Socialism have so many completely identical economic components that there is no difference. This is one reason why there is a collapse of socialism every time. People realize when they had more freedom and liberty and when that is replaced by a national government with a huge branch of secret police. It happened in Ancient Rome.

So, should we be like the Jews, the Hebrews, and face facts. Should we remember the truth of what actually happened? It is an economic nuance the difference between fascism and socialism and nothing more. Just like it is a an economic minutia between the names slavery, feudalism, and socialism. Peasants, peons, thralls, slaves, serfs, workers - what is the difference?

Again, those who espouse an economic system which only they have read but hand out a sales pitch on how great it is for everybody are the only ones who benefit. I hear Kim Jong un is now executing folks who do not believe he is a God. Hail Caesar!

All Hail the vast divisions of the federal police and surveillance forces! Screw that!

Liberty is up to your vigilance and only your vigilance will keep your liberty. No one else can be free for you. No one else can learn the history or see the unseen you cannot see. None else can remember the truths of your life and the past you learned that enslavers now reteach.

Again a pretty post from you.. thank you sir.. im fond of your all posts.. :)

Great post @jeff-kubitz. Removing these statues and the records they symbolize not only diminishes the progress we as a nation have continued to make, but it also tries to hide the history of this country. Good or bad, history needs to be known so that younger generations know what the older generations fought and died for as well as how this country came to be what it is. Much of American history (and World history at that) is ugly, but it is that ugliness that we have learned from and look to improve on. Hiding it and pretending it never happened is not the way to heal society's issues.
