We use a watermelon as a book end.
When my last roommate moved out he left a watermelon.
Finding no use for the watermelon as we don't didn't really eat them we decided it would be great as a book end.
First of all I should say that we have a white bookshelf in the corner of the kitchen.
I sometimes use it as a backdrop when I'm reviewing food items or other things.
Now we have a watermelon holding a handful of food related books on our shelf.
I'm really not sure how long a watermelon will last.
As a bookend I mean.
Will it spoil and somehow fall apart?
Will something bad happen to the watermelon and damage the books?
For now we're going to roll the dice.
We use a watermelon as a book end.
Why don't you try using a watermelon as a bookend as well?
I too will use it as a book end now. Thanks for your suggestion.
