I saw these at the grocery store just sitting in the middle of an aisle.

This is exactly the kind of toy I would have wanted when I was a kid.
Heck I have to admit I thought about buying one or two even now and I'm almost 43.

When I was a kid I collected little diecast metal cars.
Back then McDonald's had really awesome Happy Meal prizes.
One of the prizes was a little metal car and the box itself could be turned into a racetrack that could be connected with other boxes to make a giant racetrack.

It looks like there's a space shuttle and an F-22 there as well along with a couple of other things.
When I see stuff like this it really reminds me of own childhood when people used to play with actual metal toys.
