Movie Review - Tremors.
This week I've been reviewing a horror movie every night.
I will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
I'll be reviewing just about every genre of horror that you can imagine.
This includes psychological horror, space horror, campy horror, schlocky horror, comedy horror, and anything else you can think of.
Tonight's movie is the 1990s masterpiece called Tremors.

They say there's nothing new under the sun.
But under the ground......
Under the ground what?
Oh. There's something new under the ground.
Tremors is a fun movie. I think the whole family could probably watch it even though it's listed in in the horror genre.
It stars.....
Kevin Bacon
Fred Ward
Finn Carter
Michael Gross.
Kevin Bacon needs no introduction.
Fred Ward is an interesting character. He starred in Escape from Alcatraz. He's a good actor that is often underrated.
Finn Carter is nobody that I ever recognized.
The real stand up here though is Michael Gross.

Michael Gross played the dad on Family Ties.
You might remember that he was a psychologist who was soft spoken but slightly anal and uptight.
In the Tremors movies he plays a real nut job gun freak who does a great number of hilarious things in order to defeat these giant worm things.
That is the entire plot of the movie by the way.
Defeat some giant worm things that have appeared out of the ground.
It seems as if somebody said "What if we took the sand worms from Dune but made them here on planet Earth so that a bunch of random people like farmers and policemen have to deal with them?"
That's what happens.
It's a simple plot but sometimes a simple plot is all you need to make a good movie.
Tremors is rip roaring fun and you can leave your brain at the door.
I highly recommend it.
Now I have put it in my watchlist. Thanks for the recommendation.
Yess I love horror movies! Haven't seen a good one in a while. Gerald's game was the last one I saw.
I remember this 🎥 🍿 Movie. I vividly remember the little girl on the pogo stick wearing headphones once they realize the worms are guided through sound.
I think there might be as many as five Tremors movies..
I wasn't scared of this movie at all. It was very entertainting though because that time, this was an original. I was still very young when this came out. I didn't see any other film like it. This was also the first time I knew of Kevin Bacon.
Kevin Bacon really gets around.
It's a funny movie compared to today's technology. a movie I watched on Fridays from my childhood :)
Thanks for your good analysis on horror movies, this movie looks very good. I love horror movies too much!!!
