Do you throw away a bottle when it's near the end or do you conserve its contents?

in #life7 years ago (edited)

These days it seems like a lot of people are just throwing things away.

That is such a waste though.

Instead of doing that you can marry the bottle with the new bottle.

This is something that we do at my job all the time.

You see at my job we use a lot of bottles of A1 sauce and Heinz 57.

Instead of throwing those bottles away when their down to like the last 10% that doesn't really come out of the bottle very well we combine those bottles with the newer bottles.

You have to use about 10% of the new bottle first but then you can just turn the old bottle upside down on top of the new bottle and let it pour it's contents into the new bottle.

Although we mostly use it for steak sauce it works for all kinds of different bottles.

Do you throw away a bottle when it's near the end or do you conserve its contents?

Its good if we can be conserving things are not being wasteful.

I dump leftover bottled water into a big bottle and use it to water plants. Never do it with anything else though. We usually stock up on ketchup on $1 sales so we don't need to conserve it to the last drop.

I throw away a bottle but never with the contents.. i am a person like i hate wasting! Offcourse i conserve its contents..
