Do you have that one kind generous friend that always makes your day?
I have one.
His name is Tim and he is always there with a kind word and sometimes even a small gift just to brighten up your day.
Today was looking to be a particularly difficult morning.
I was opening the store and there wouldn't be many others there to open it with me.
We've been really slow this week and there hasn't been much money flowing around.
So I got to work this morning and guess what I found with a note taped to it by the back bistro tables?
A small cardboard box with the familiar Sprinkles brand logo on it.
Sprinkles is a cupcake company that sells its cupcakes for $5 a piece.
They are extremely good.
The note said....
"To Jeezzle. I hope you enjoy this cupcake. Have a nice day."
Inside the box was a chocolate cupcake with chocolate sprinkles.
It was incredibly delicious.
Tim works more than anyone I know. He probably works about 70 hours a week at the restaurant and he is almost always there. Despite this he is always willing to buy lunch for someone, or take time to listen to them, or give them a surprise gift, or just have a kind word.
Do you know anyone like that? I hope that you do.
