There's always multiple sides to a story, so let's just leave it with I hope he finds what he was looking for in the next life. Hard to feel sorry for people who spends their life being a burden to others, but there has to be a reason why he got plastered every time, right?
I didn't want to go too far in bashing the guy, but he actually had a really nice family, parents and siblings, who tried to help him for years. Then it became an enabling situation and they had to walk away. Some people just don't have the capacity to grow in this life for some reason. (And he was a nark on top of it, you didn't want him to catch you smoking weed for instance, more often than not he'd traipse right down to where the local cops hang out and tell them all about it) But still, I also wish him well in the next life, and if it's a repeat of this one, I hope he grows :)
