Hello everyone, I'm Archbishop Donnie Chong, EOC. Today, it is with deep pleasure to present the topic "Cold Hard Truth vs Comfortable Lies".

Daniel 12:10
Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

Jeremiah 14:11-16
Then the LORD said to me, “Do not pray for these people anymore. When they fast, I will pay no attention. When they present their burnt offerings and grain offerings to me, I will not accept them. Instead, I will devour them with war, famine, and disease.”

Then the LORD said, “These prophets are telling lies in my name. I did not send them or tell them to speak. I did not give them any messages. They prophesy of visions and revelations they have never seen or heard. They speak foolishness made up in their own lying hearts.

Therefore, this is what the LORD says: I will punish these lying prophets, for they have spoken in my name even though I never sent them. They say that no war or famine will come, but they themselves will die by war and famine! 16As for the people to whom they prophesy—their bodies will be thrown out into the streets of Jerusalem, victims of famine and war. There will be no one left to bury them. Husbands, wives, sons, and daughters—all will be gone. For I will pour out their own wickedness on them.

In the world today, unfortunately, the majority of the population prefer to believe in comfortable lies over cold hard truth. There are many reasons why it drives people to believe more towards comfortable lies. I will list out the big reason so that you can get a real perspective on it.

First reason is they do not want their illusion materialistic world to be destroyed. They cannot able to let go all the attachment that they have on this earth such as the possession, wealth, money, power or control. These are the manipulation tools that Satan has used to control the majority of the population so that they will continue to be enslaved and cannot able discover the truth.

The second reason can be cognitive dissonance. They choose to deny the truth as they don’t want it to happen in reality. Therefore, they will find all the excuse in their mind even it is not justifiable for the purpose to deny the truth. They are fearful and afraid for the truth to happen because they don’t want it to happen so badly due to their unethical consciousness, materialism, denial or ego.

On the other hand, a cold hard truth is hard to swallow at first when you first discover it. However, once you have accepted the cold hard truth over the comfortable lies, then it will set your mind free and help you to achieve the enlightenment consciousness. You can able to differentiate and identify what is the truth and what is the lie. You will understand the true meaning and the purpose of why all of us, the human being is being born into this beautiful earth created by The God.

You will able to let go all the Satan’s manipulation tool more easily than ever before because you know they are just a manipulation tool design to enslave and trap your mind from knowing the truth. You will feel more enlightened as you get rid of all the negative energy out from your mind and soul like materialism, ego or haughtiness

Therefore, now is the time to recognise the truth and study the mountain of irrefutable evidence provided in the Ecumenical Order of Christ. Learn the truth that the Christ, Lord RayEl has returned now already.
