How to live a healthy day to day lifestyle;

These are tips to how you can improve or augment actions in our daily life to have a healthy lifestyle. The tips could include some tips about avoiding actions (the don'ts) that could lead to unhealthy living.
Healthy living to most people in the world could mean trying to balance physical and mental health together in order to function as a sound individual.
Physical and mental health are closely linked in many cases, and can directly affect the other when changes occur(good or bad).
Below are some tips/suggestions for physical, emotional and mental healthy living;
•EATING (diet)
- Try to eat three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
- Your bulk of food consumption should consist of fruits, and vegetables and low fat products.
- Avoid sugar and drinks that contaim soda because it will accumulate excessive calories in the body and it could cause more hunger and increase food consumption.
- Avoid eating large meals before sleeping.
- Uncooked food like fruits and vegetables should be thoroughly washed with clean water.
- Avoid eating undercooked meats of any kind.
- People trying to lose body fat should avoid fatty food and focus on eating mainly vegetables and fruits.
•PHYSICAL ACTIVTY AND EXERCISE
- Physical activity and exercise is a major contributor to living a healthy lifestyle, as disuse of the body leads to unhealthy living.
- Regular exercise can prevent and reverse age-related reduction in muscle mass and physical strength, improve flexibility, endurance and balance.
- Regular exercise can help prevent disease which comes with aging such as coronary heart disease, stroke,obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes.
- Regular weight muscle gaining exercise can also help prevent osteoporosis by building your bone strength.
-Regular exercise can help control weight gain and in some people help reduce fat.
-30 minutes of modest exercising (like walking) at least three to five days in a week is recommended. - Children need exercise too,playing outside of the home is a good start.
•AVOID TOBACCO USE
- Stop smoking tobacco, stop from today(research shows it takes about 15 years of non smoking behaviour to achieve a "normal" risk level for heart disease for smokers).
- Avoid chewing tobacco, it could cause oral cancer diseases.
- Pregnant women who smoke could tend to deliver babies with low birth weight.
•MENTAL HEALTH
-Get enough sleep daily (7-9 hours of sleep can be recommended).
- Taking a walk and reflecting can also ne a vood practice.
- Try out some mind exercises (solving puzzles and reading).
- Spend some quality time talking and interacting with other people about different subjects.
- Try out some hobby or sport at least once every week.
- Have fun, ensure to enjoy yourself by going out.
- Have a good network of friends with strong social support.
- Seek help or advice from elderly people if you feel depressed or have suicidal thoughts.
•AVOID EXCESSIVE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION
- Chronic, excess alcohol consumption is a major cause of liver cirrhosis is the world(as research). Liver cirrhosis can lead to cancer.
- Alcohol accounts for a good percentage of deaths from automobile accidents around the world.
- Excessive alcohol consumption on the daily can lead to kidney failure as a person's age increases.
•AVOID HIGH-RISK SEXUAL BEHAVIOUR/ACTIVITY
-High-risk sexual activity can lead to the carriage of sexually transmitted infections such as gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes or HIV.
-High-risk sexual behaviours can lead to a spread of infections which can lead to cervical cancer in women.
- Unplanned pregnancy and abortion arealso adverse effects of high risk sexual activities.
If these few tips can be put in practice, I'm sure more healthy living could be maintained as it is important for achieving life purposes.
