At the beginning of any adventure or endeavor, there is one thing you simply CANNOT leave without and that is your backpack of DETERMINATION - because the journey to ANY destination that holds real value - or real worth - is without question going to have a few mountains to climb along the way!
Because of this, you will need to focus and actually mentally prepare yourself for the journey. Beginning an adventure to somewhere amazing is always VERY exciting but needs to be adequately prepared for! (with the essentials at the very least...)
In many ways, determination is not unlike a steel suit of armour - and that suit will almost ALWAYS see you through ALL the challenges you encounter along the way - you simply need to keep your focus on your destination. When you do this - determination will ALWAYS rock up to save the day ;)
I thought I would share this song with you - "RISE" as I have always considered it a very apt "visual" depiction of determination... well to my mind anyway...

I am a total sucker for anything motivational and/or inspirational, I often spend a good amount of time browsing quotes online to share with followers on various other platforms so I figured why not make it a daily habit here on Steemit too ;)
Despite the fact that I am a complete and utter tech junkie and I love so much about our modern world - (yes, there is a lot that I DON’T like as well… but keep up people… this is a happy hippy post), I have often considered the fact that I might have been born in the wrong era.
I have an insatiable love for anything 60’s!
So here I sit - in the 21st century, perhaps minus the bell bottoms but definitely not without the happy spirit, excessive array of colour (everywhere) and juuuuust a few gadgets to boot…he he!

I'm going to have to disagree with this fact/method of yours @Jaynie about determination. Determination only acts as a fuel but without a S.M.A.R.T. goal and a plan of action ( which obviously everyone does have when starting out ) determination just acts as a fuel for failure. If this sounded cliche then it probably is but I don't care about that because it's something that when applied upon gets you the required RESULTS every single time. You just need to make certain adjustments and compromises as per the requirement of the situation. So having a Smart goal and a plan of action along with the necessary adjustments and compromises along with determination/commitment may be useful infact quite a lethal combination for your success. But determination by itself is something that won't work. This is just my perception/opinion and you're welcome to disagree with me.
