This is perhaps not my "happiest" hippy quote to date lol - as I have had a tough week passed. However... it is one of a place of realisation and strength.
Strength is not always comfortable, but it must still be acknowledged - and embraced no matter what shape or form it shows itself in.
I have spent my life putting myself in the backseat. Sacrificing, and giving up on "me" for the sake of others... and although I came to the realisation quite some time back that I could and should NEVER allow that to happen again... this last week and today specifically has been the first time that I have been forced to "action" that strength...
It is not going to be easy, but it is absolutely necessary - and I know, I will only be stronger for it :)
As you get to know me... you will discover that when I am highly emotional (which you would know I am today re. my prior post) - I tend to speak more in music and less in words....
So this is where I am going to start today...
It is not the best place to start... but the reality is... that is precisely where it started!

I am a total sucker for anything motivational and/or inspirational, I often spend a good amount of time browsing quotes online to share with followers on various other platforms so I figured why not make it a daily habit here on Steemit too :)
Despite the fact that I am a complete and utter tech junkie and I love so much about our modern world - (yes, there is a lot that I DON’T like as well… but keep up people… this is a happy hippy post), I have often considered the fact that I might have been born in the wrong era.
I have an insatiable love for anything 60’s!
So here I sit - in the 21st century, perhaps minus the bell bottoms but definitely not without the happy spirit, excessive array of colour (everywhere) and juuuuust a few gadgets to boot…he he!
