Yeah, I'm fucked with Unfortunate Events

With my intention to make the printing of Steemit Sinulog Shirt as a non-profit initiative, I am facing a big loss and big losses for printing it. I expected to have a stable value for SBD at $7 each to make the cost of printing breakeven. Look at SBD's price now, on the brink of $3.00 per SBD.

Number 1 unfortunate Thing

So today is the deadline for shirt orders and I am finalizing everything. From buying the raw shirts, to delivering them to the printshop, and be able to pay the fees plus negotiate to claim it by friday. I am again facing another tough challenge. The supplies for white shirts still didn't delivered. Sigh.

Number 2 Unfortunate Thing

I was about to go home and the shop texted me that they have available TEENS and XS sizes. So I immediately went back to the shop and bought the shirt. They mentioned the shirts will be delivered today or probably tomorrow morning. A glimpse of Hope

Then I immediately went to the shop to deliver the shirts (lacking shirts) and they said two bad news :

• They increased the printing of shirt cost (per piece). Another loss of mine. Sad but true.

• They said they can't print the shirts on time because of large volumes of orders they got. I already negotiated with them and paid a partial payment just for the shirt to be on time last Monday. Sad.

Number 3 Unfortunate Thing

Luckily, one of the staff there is a member of an organization I handled way back 2015 (Association of Working Scholars). She mentioned they will do their best to provide the shirt prints this Friday. A Glimpse of Hope Again.

Shirt design will be followed as is based on what was given. But they need to wait for all of the shirts before they start printing. So I need to wait for the supply to come. If not, it will be a disaster. But I know God is good :) He will provide it.

Another thing is that when I mentioned them the Steemit Pins, they ran out of stock. The supplies will be delivered next week so no Steemit Pins for now. It was sad, but I can't do anything about it. The personnel in charge last Monday mentioned that they have a lot of Pins. 😭

Number 4 Unfortunate Thing

Though a lot of things happened unfortunately, I am still positive and smiling 😁. No problem, all of these things I relied to him (above).
