Financial Freedom -- What Does It Mean? -- A Quick Blurb

Financial freedom means something different to everyone. In general, it is the state at which you are able to live life comfortably without the fear of spending money on what you want as well as what you need.

A couple of lessons I've learned:

1. Poor people spend money and rich people save money.

Obvious right? Not really... It's important to live below your current financial means, moving away from feeling the need to impress and towards the feeling of actual financial freedom.

2. Don't trust anyone outright.

Assume everyone you meet has something to prove. Even if they have an outstanding track record or have great composure, don't trust them outright until they prove to you specifically otherwise.

3. Build something that creates value, don't sell your time.

The most tedious business is the business of selling your time for money. Consulting businesses take the most time to build and keep running, but show the lowest rate of return. Build something that can be sold multiple times over, something that creates value for others.
