THE FREE GIFT

What is man to reach the gold standard by mere hands of clay?
Years of tears can't cleanse our sins nor bear the weight of its wages.
Years of works can't appease God, for our good works are filthy rags.
None can win heaven's heart nor gain the free ticket.
None is righteous before the perfect eyes.
What is man to reach the standard of God?
You think our good works are good enough

To earn us a place in paradise?
Or you think God can be bribed by our pietism?
Ah, u wanna do politics with One who made u!
I preach no religion. Religion is not the way.
You say when our goods outweigh our bads then God is pleased.

Are we fooling we, or fooling God? Think twice, my friend.
God is not man, man is not God. Who can trick his Maker?
Can we ever be good enough by much strivings?
We know best. Let's tell ourselves the truth.
Neither we nor our works is perfect.

So, where do we fit in? Heaven?? Hell?
There is no middle ground of probation.
Oh imperfect man, how can you save yourself?
You call yourself a god, can a god die? Tell me, I am ignorant.
Man has no path to reach God; God made a path to reach man.

Out of His heart of love, He sent His Priceless Gift,
The only Gift to gain us His heart and heaven's ticket.
I preach the free Gift of God to man.
Our works can't qualify for the Gift. We get the Gift by trust in the Giver and His Gift.

The Gift of Jesus is NO religion. He was killed for all not just the Christians.
He is for you and me. (God's Gift to save man).
He alone in history, died and rose up to give us a New Life.
Believe in Him today and you will be saved.
