The Super Bowl
Today in America we celebrate a national event of sorts known as the Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl is the annual championship game of the National Football League (American football). This year the game is being played by the NFC team (national football conference) the Philadelphia Eagles and the AFC (American football conference) the New England Patriots.
It’s a fun excuse for us in America to get together with friends and converse with food and beer and gathering around the television seeing which team will be victorious!
Hope I don’t isolate any followers by saying this, but today I will be rooting for the New England patriots!!

Im someone from the UK, who has no understading of the Super Bowl... how do they decide who is going to play each year?
And... what is your favourite food to have on game day? The internet always makes game day food look so good.
Top two teams whom won the most games during the season then play each other each year in the Super Bowl, or something like that, like a playoffs kind of thing, I am guessing
Potato 🥔 chips and snack foods and beer 🍻 and soda and anything you want.
The teams are chosen from their records of wins against other teams throughout the year. And my favorite food to eat on game day is chicken wings with an ice cold beer! 🍗 🍺

Hope you have a great time today. I'm not watching the Super Bowl 🍚 but I have been to some fun SB parties years ago and those can be fun times because of the community, fellowship, and the food, and the commercials, and the excitement like you may also find at the cinema.
Very true we will be throwing a party this year expecting about 30 or so people!! Hoping they all bring good foods haha 😂
I would bring some oatmeal, ha ha.

I didn't remember that today was the Super Bowl since I'm in another country and here the football fever is not so strong, but if I find this sport interesting, well I'll go for Philadelphia Eagles because they are the least favorite and maybe we'll be surprised.
