Don't Give Up!

We often hear the phrase "don't give up!" When we get discouraged or we have a setback, we think that we can't do it. We get discouraged because of the amount of work that it takes to accomplish what we set out to do. The fear of failure keeps us from doing what we know that we should be doing. The best way to deal with these obstacles is to look for solutions, and then find ways to get past them.


It is important to recognize the fact that just because you are quitting something doesn't mean that you will not enjoy it. If you love what you are doing, you will continue to do it. Most people who give up easily make a promise to themselves to come back at it again one day, if possible. This is a mistake. If you are serious about quitting, then you must not give up easily.

Instead of quitting, you must prepare yourself to conquer your setback. Do not give up until you have completely overcome your setback. Remember, you are trying to quit so that you can live a more fulfilled life. If you quit today, tomorrow will come only if you continue to try. So make sure you really can quit before you quit.

Many people make the mistake of giving up too soon when they quit their jobs. You need to have the determination and confidence to keep going until you have accomplished everything you wanted to achieve in life. Giving up is like throwing your hands up in the air, knowing that you have failed. No one ever gets anything right the first time around. This is very critical because if you don't get motivated to quit, then you might never get bitten by the knitting bug. When you are quitting, you must be as excited as can be to get rid of your addiction and quit on your own terms. Don't make the mistake of giving up on yourself. Always remember that you are the only one who can motivate you to quit.


The last mistake that is often made is that of not being able to find motivation when quitting. For example, when someone gives up smoking, they may get inspired to quit with the thought of becoming healthier and living longer. However, this person may find it difficult to get motivated because they are already healthy and have lots of positive things going for them. In order to succeed at quitting, you need to stay as motivated as possible. This means staying focused on the fact that you want to quit and doing whatever it takes to get there.
