Do You Trust Yourself?

in #life3 years ago

Do you trust yourself enough to let go of the need for approval? Have you lost faith in your own ability? Do you worry that if you don't get it right this time, you'll just end up getting it wrong again? Do you fear standing up and being accountable for your life choices? If these are issues for you, I'd like you to think seriously about this:

You have an opportunity to strengthen your self-esteem and your sense of personal responsibility each and every day by reawakening your self-control and your ability to say, "I can do this." With true divine nature at work, self-esteem allows you to take back your own power. With self-esteem, you tip the scales decisively in your direction and literally take back your own power.

The art of self-control requires that you use discernment, patience, and creativity to monitor your habits of thought and your responses to situations. It requires that you be open to changing your pattern of responding to whatever it is that triggers you. If you want to change the way you think and the way you respond to situations, self-control is the key. With the ability to increase your self-control, you are capable of developing a set of highly realistic goals with which you can conquer any challenge that life presents you with.

In order to strengthen your self-confidence, you must first develop trust. The ability to trust yourself means you have confidence in yourself and in your abilities. When you strengthen your self-esteem, self-control, and your self-esteem muscle, you also develop a reliable relationship with the divine nature that underlies all things - and that in turn makes the world a better place.

Another important aspect of building self-respect, trust, and confidence is the ability to feel safe and secure. In order to feel safe and secure, you need to feel understood and validated. When you do not feel understood or validated, you will tend to avoid any situation or activity that could potentially make you feel insecure. If you cannot handle a particular issue head-on, simply avoid it; doing so will only allow you to become more elusive and vulnerable, thus increasing the likelihood that your issue will not be dealt with in a serious manner. The best way to build self-respect, trust, and confidence is to keep your guard up and avoid issues that could make you feel insecure.

By following the steps outlined above, you will be well on your way towards building self-esteem, trust, and confidence. Do not allow fear and doubt to hamper your progress. Once you have developed these essential skills, start applying them to all areas of your life, beginning with your interactions with potential clients every day. You will be surprised by how quickly these new behaviors can take you from a fragile, wavering person who cannot feel safe and secure to a confident, assertive professional who knows how to manage his time and his concerns for his business. With your new, realistic goals in mind, you will find that building self-esteem, trust, and confidence are easy!

Very nice post about self control and self esteem. To be honest, changing mindset and affirming ourselves that we can do that is a really great way. But it's also true that, it's not an easy task to do. It takes practice to train our mind to keep ourselves self motivated and positive all the time.
