About Kefalonia, Greeceland

One of my favorite places where I did travel was in Greeceland. The color of the water and the diversity of beaches are awsome. There a lot of diferent islands. Kefalonia is the largest island in the Ionian Sea and is bordered by Zakynthos, Ithaka and Lefkada. Kefalonia is one of the most famous islands in Greece. The island is narrow and long, with narrow and a bit sloping, but good roads that run along the shore.
Sami It is the largest port in Kefalonia. Here was filmed the movie ”Captain Corelli Mandoline”. Lake Melisani It is a miracle of nature, in a word!
It is just 2 km from Sami and 10 km from Argostoli. It looks like an emerald-colored lake, "prisoner" in a cave. The lake is 15 m deep, and the rock walls that surround it, 22 m. To get to it, you will need to descend several steps. A ticket costs 7 euros.

Cave Drogarati.

It is near Khaliotata at an altitude of 120 m. To get to it, it is necessary to descend a lot of wet and slippery steps, because the Drogarati cave is actually 21 m deep. It is large, 95 m long and 45 m wide, but not all visitors are open. A ticket costs 6 euros.
Argostoli.

It is the capital of the island and is in the west. Unfortunately, the 1953 was largely destroyed, but with the help of the government it was rebuilt over time.
