Life as an Artist #1: Visual Graphics Design Student PART 2

So here's the next part, advancing in our lesson, we take a higher notch. Logo Design, Event Promotional Materials and Photo Manipulation, Now we sound like we really are getting into it, and being a real graphic artist.

My eyes sparkle when I hear that photo manipulation and logo, because ever since I started using photoshop back in the day, I fell in love with this work, particularly in photo editing, it's vast and complexity is a way for me to express this little child in me.

So here's what happens,

Since I'm a bit of a coffee drinker myself, this is what first came to my mind, and this logo is lurking in my imagination for a decade, and I think this is the right time to realize it, and its worth it.

So the next thing is we should put it on a Mock Up
Because this is the product we are selling to the client, Boom!

and we should be able to make a signage out of it,

I really enjoyed doing this,

not just the facade, we should be able to imagine this is a real company, and do our own paperwork,

Moving on, Our next task is to create our own concert event, and use our skills acquired to make Materials to promote it, We call our Activity "Window Display"
So here's my event! Oh yeah!!

and also a mock-up for t-shirt,

Creativity is the key to this activity, there is a time your work might get rejected, don't feel down, move forward and make it happen, persistent plays a major role in graphic design, you may be struggling at first, but everything can be achieved through hard work and determination.

And so here's our Photo Manipulation activity, here we need to clean and paint the Ranch House Photo, provided by our instructor,

as you can see, it was intentionally messy, and we can't even use a broomstick to clean it up,

so we made it happen,

we are all feeling great for what we achieved for the little time given to us, then our instructor said "oops the client made a little request" silence filled in the room, "the client wants the door open and make someone peek from it" that's the challenge we faced during this activity,

and so, this was the result,

You can't always please everyone with your work, but as long as you do it with your heart in it, you can achieve what others may not believe you could achieve.
