Mixture of Friends To Enemies
FRIENDS TODAY, ENEMIES TOMORROW !
Have you ever been in this situation ? I believe many of us have.
From our younger school days when life was simpler, we only think of the many friends we have. BFF, that's what we call it now. And yet, sometimes over a small petty thing such as a dress, a book, a comment or to some extend a girl or boy. We'll turn into enemies and start calling each other names & be the worst person we possibility can towards the other.
Does it change over the years? Do we grow up and out of it? I don't think ever.
It is sad to see and hear of such occurrences happening among people that we know. What's worse is that because we're older now and so claimed to be wiser, our ego stops us from opening up ourselves and talking it through. No one wants to take the first step and eat the humble pie instead decides to build a wall so high that no one can climb over.
It's a loss cause if both parties just remain cold to each other when just a couple of months/weeks/days ago, these two homosapiens were the best of friends. Trusting each other with everything ; money, secrets and perhaps life itself.
How does one lend a helping hand to resolve the situation ? Especially when one knows both of them very well.
Lending an ear for them to express their dissatisfaction and frustration towards each other is one step. Yet, it feels like the punching bag and Sponge Bob. Even Sponge Bob will have nothing else to absorb after a while.
Truly a troubling matter. Maybe it's the end of a beautiful friendship, maybe not. If only we have the answers.
It is sad to hear good friends turn into enemies. Ending friendship with things that can be resolved over a cup of tea or a cold beer. Life is to short to have enemies. I don't have enemies that I could think of maybe I'm such a super friendly guy lol. A nice topic you brought up here.
It's truly a sad situation. If only I could do more but the trust is lost between both parties. Am not sure if coffee or beer can even resolve it.
