The power of negativity

The power of negativity.

It all begins with a thought.

When we worry or have negative thoughts, we trick our brains into thinking that there is an immediate threat that we have to take care of. As a result, our fight or flight response kicks in to deal with the stress.

We need to train ourselves to replace negative thoughts with positive ones so that we can experience significantly less anxiety and depression, and greater self-control, savoring, compassion, love, contentment, joy, gratitude, self-esteem, self-compassion, satisfaction with life, and overall happiness.

Today is a day of positivity.
Practice does not make perfect, it makes PERMANENT !

The mind is a powerful tool that can be used to harm or help our soul. Just as positivity is contagious so is negativity, as you are saying. Simply recognizing this negative energy we feel is not enough... we must get up and train ourselves to keep moving forward! Someone can understand how and where the negative energy is coming from but not do anything about it, which will only eat away at you for as long as you let it. I think a lot of the training you speak of has to deal with getting ourselves out of our 'comfort zones' and embracing all the world has to offer. Good post, love the motivation :)

Sometimes it's good to say some positive affirmations, it truly helps. Nice post, good info!
