Sad but Amazing 🌀 Actual Footage of Extinct Animals.
I tried to find some solid information about the number of extinctions in the last century, to accompany this post. I see however, that it is not an easy question to answer. It seems like there are hundreds, maybe thousands? There are dozens of insect extinctions (that we know about,) in the last 100 years alone.
We can do better...

What strikes me is how it seems to behave like every other animal in captivity... That desperate kind of pacing, and nosing at the door. So heartbreaking indeed...
