What is true value? | Some nice story.
Once a little boy entered the kitchen in the evening when his mother cooked a dinner and handed her a piece of paper that had something written. She read that paper.
Here is what it was written:
For mowing a lawn - 5.00 USD
For ordering my room this week - 1.00 USD
For going to the store - 0.50 USD
Watching little brother while you were in the store - 0.25 USD
Trash removal - 1.00 USD
For getting good grades in school - 5.00 USD
For cleaning the courtyard and grabbing the leaves - 2.00 USD
Total : 14.75 USD
Mother looked at her while standing in the kitchen, and the boy could see how memories are traveling in her mind. She took the pen, turned the paper upside down and, here it was written:
For the nine months that I took you while you grow in my stomach:
No need Pay;
For all the nights I spent with you to feed you, to treat and pray for you:
No need Pay;
For all the difficulties and tears that you have caused in these years:
No need Pay;
For all the nights, filled with fears and worries that came close:
No need Pay;
For toys, clothes and even a nose wipe:
No need Pay;
Son, summing up all this, for my love:
You do not have to pay.
When his son read everything that was written on paper, great tears appeared in his eyes, and he looked straight into his mother's eyes and said:
"Mommy, I love you all the time." And then he took his pen and wrote in large letters: "Total: 0.00USD"
You will never understand how much your parents really are worth while you do not become like that yourself.
There is a lot to give in life without money.
