A useful mindset to have when working is to know and understand that the work you are doing today is what you will harvest tomorrow. If you put your best efforts in today, tomorrow's harvest will be good.

This means that you can affect your future by what you do now. Think of your work as seeds that you are planting, and the fruits of your labour will be what you harvest tomorrow.

A person with this kind of understanding will always do his best at whatever he does, knowing that he will enjoy the results in the future. That's why it's said that you ought not to judge each day by the harvest you reap only, but by the seeds you plant too.
