Life with Steemit
Life with Steemit
I have officially been on Steemit for over a week now, I have had my first pay out and it has been great and an experience. I have had to learn to juggle researching, writing, my babies, making meals, and errands. I would love to say I have handled it with grace and ease. However, that is not the case. I have fought with my husband more in this last week then I have in the last year. As, the week came to an end and my marriage is in tacked, kids are awesome, and I got to WRITE! Plus, I found my first forum that I love.
I found my first forum that I love and enjoy writing for, Steemstem. I have always loved science and in another life I would be a doctor. I have written 2 articles for it and they have been well received and now it is just learning the format and how to best present it. I am used to writing research papers and presenting fact based information in that manner. It is an adjustment to write it for a social platform. I am learning the ropes with a couple a great people offering advice. It is has made the transition easier.
The more I learn, read, and the more people I meet, the more I love Steemit. I am learning the best times to write, the best time to research, and how to type fast with a 3 month old drooling on my keyboard. My husband would love for me to figure out how to do it, minus the drool. Since, he is the one who has to fix the computer when it breaks :) It does work for me though and fixing the computer keeps him busy. Thank you to all for making my first week great! Now off to research :)
A belated welcome to Steemit from me!
If your husband gets out of line you just give that beard a yank and remind who brought you here in the first place.
It also gets not a whit easier juggling all the household tasks and child rearing along with writing. But you probably already knew that :)
Thank you and nice to meet you :) I do and I dpn't know how there is any left lol
The community is better off this week then last because your here .
I'm glad you are finding you groove. I think my hubby and I could have more issues with steemit if we had children. but for now staying up now and communicating with each other through discord is working very well lol...
