What have you learned from the new Star Wars movie?

Yesterday at midnight I got to see the pre premier of the new Star Wars episode.

Leaving any review on the movie itself for a future post, I wanna focuse on one key aspect in the movie which lead to one of the most important scenes. Almost ruining everything for the Rebellion.

You never see reality

What's this spaced up statement supposed to mean you ask yourself.

Well, people are not who you take them for, situations are not what they appear to be, as a general rule of thumb, nothing in this world is, at its core, the way you can see it. Is presented to you.

Your model is flawed. Your brain is tricking you, trying to justify everything it observes by putting it in a made up simulation of how stuff should be. But isn't.

Ehh what

In the movie one of the main carachters gets tricked into believing a fake reality by making it appear real enough for the main carachter to get fooled. Which lead to the main carachter's team almost being annihilated.

Think more

I know thinking is tough. Not a lot of people want to do it.

There's a reason the book is called: Think and Grow Rich.

Apparently people get bored with themselves, or the absurdity of their mind after short periods of time, but if you can master it, you'll win.
