We all know 107% of people quit on their New Year’s resolutions 20 minutes after making them. Or some bogus statistic.

Memes all over the internet making fun of people attempting to better their lives.

Of course, you don’t need a new year to make changes and I strongly advocate for turning 180 whenever necessary.

But if the new year acts as extra motivation and gives you a reason to finally do it, go for it.

Don’t listen to all the negativity spewed from the sidelines.

Most, if not all, of the people making fun of those who still believe in their resolutions lead miserable lives themselves.

It’s annoying.

Cheer for them.

Help them.

Go up to the new guys in the gym and make sure they come back.

Show them the ropes.

Don’t let your misery downplay their ambitions.

Are you envious?

How about changing that shitty attitude of yours. Hating on those that want but aren’t there yet.

If you commit to something next year, going after it with all you got, you have my full support.

Our society turned those noble ambitions into something to make fun of.

I’m not completely obnoxious to the statistics. And the ridiculousness of waiting for the new year.

But who am I to judge.

If anything, I respect their intentions and help as best as I can.

After all, it’s society who idolizes those going after their dreams while at the same time stigmatizes failure.

Covering up its tracks. Not portraying failure.

We shouldn't feel bad for wanting to change something.

I get it. You can change any day of the year why wait for a new year.

Effort is between you and you.

Better make sure your precious energy is used to make sure you’re in the top 1% of what you want to do.

All the motivational brain masturbation won’t do it.
