Motivation Mondays Ep.1: No more tomorrows

in #life8 years ago

One day I decided enough was enough.

No more tomorrows.

How often do we sit down and realize things are not going the way we want them to?

And that we are the problem.

Deep down we know it. All of us.

How often do we sit down, with our hopes and dreams about tomorrow being the day we finally start to capitalize on our strengths?

Tomorrow will be the day.

The day I start to get fit, eat healthy, read, enjoy work. Find my purpose and be grateful (in and of itself a ludicrous approach).

And then tomorrow comes around.

Now, the real magic happens.

We forget the changes we committed to. The pain we suffered late at night. Promising ourselves to use the glimpse of hope to spark an enormous fire.

How often will tomorrow be the magic day?

It’s fascinating. It’s sad. It seems inconceivable to us and yet there is this awe. An awe shaking our body.

Tomorrow.

A dreamland where 99% of all human creativity, inspiration, hard work, courage, what have you, is stored.

Inaccessible.

Burried.

Hidden away from the masses. Tapped into by the few who understand our brain.

You’re bullshitting yourself.

“How did your exams go?”

“I didn’t pass… but I didn’t care, I stopped learning because I wasn’t interested in it. Yada yada yada.”

(Stopped listening after “pass”) “How about you?”

Two lessons right here.

We tend to set ourselves up for failure beforehand.

Why?

Because we are insecure and fear society will label us inadequate if we are not perfect our first time around.

So, we make up stories supporting our poor performance instead of doing what’s required.

Second, people don’t care about your excuses. They don’t.

They’re busy with their stuff, don’t need or want you to whine and justify yourself, because they don’t want to fix your problems for you.

The lies we’re telling ourselves only hurt us.

Don’t believe them. Don’t give in to them.

When you sit there at night wondering what it’s all about, commit to change.

Finally change everything you want.

This is not how it’s supposed to be.

Address recurring thoughts.

They exist for a reason.

They are worth pursuing. Analyze and understand.

Get going. Make sense of the mess in your head and get going.

No more tomorrows.

Stay awesome and don’t fail to create

P.S. This message was originally written for myself. I needed to get my shit together. But I thought I’d share it with you. Let you in on the journey and proudly announce that I’m finally back. With more content than ever! (accountability right there)

The situations are different. And not always so easy to get out of it.
I am now deep in the ass. Having on my shoulders the debts not paid the bill for the house rent and transport (motorbike).
Who we are, you can read from my account steemit.com/@oneworldtwoways

Well, if you are in a bad situation alon. If you have a family, you can't show that you have a problem? + you are in a foreign country. It so happened that we became hostages of a situation while traveling. I do not stand on a one place, a lot of learned (when I have the time), a lot of write , I came up with a project that without the support of almost not moving.
Yet it is important to note that people have long-term problems that can be gradually solved somehow, and short-term which should be solved right now otherwise it will be full of fucked up. The second is about me.
In many books about motivation and how to become richand and others, said about long-term problems or psychological state of man. No one tells what to do if will be bad tomorrow. Often people fall into these problems is not their fault.
Sometimes have thoughts, that's wrong with me, what it is to me, what it teaches me and so on? Sometimes I want to hide in a corner and scream. But in Bali almost no places where are no people. You can not even commit suicide because the family on your shoulders, for which you are responsible, and they can not leave all your problems, not under any circumstances.
The critical date is 28 October. To this day I have to solve a part of their problems, and then the next, and finally deal with the other. To continue what I started.
Challenge accepted. I have 3 days to find the money, I have a plan, I have an idea which should be implemented and I have 7 billion people in this beautiful world. And totally healthy (within the norm). To begin with the impossible challenge!
Writing about everything will be in my account steemit.com/@oneworldtwoways , so subscribe and watch out, these three days will be intense.
Thank you @ikigai extra motivation right now!
