And that after I just thought about how we could bring more value to Steemit.

It goes like the following.

Marcus Aurelius said something among the lines of: be considerate of what you say – treat everything you say as if it were your last words.

Think about that.

You only say something – write a Steemit post – if you could die in peace with those words being the words you are remembered for.

Well, we are not measured by our last words. Hardly anybody will know them for the most part.

But still. Putting more thought into your words doesn’t hurt.

Better to have everyone think you’re an idiot than open your mouth and confirm it.

In other words, one doesn’t have to contribute. That is in your daily interactions. And discussions. Contributing for the sake of saying something is a waste.

Please contribute on Steemit. This is not meant to put down posts. Any post.
Heck I just write about whatever comes to my mind and post it.
So can you.

This takes it a little far of course.

If applied in a reasonable manner this might up your interactions. Otherwise you might be mistaken for some antisocial weirdo.
