Perfection.Does It Exist ?
Perfection is a two-edged sword. It is unattainable. Exists only in the mind. We have an image of the ideal we want. The good is - it motivates. We have something to strive for. It has brought civilisation from its beginning to where we are today and will continue to stimulate and drive progress.
We should accept excellence as standard to be going on with and strive for the ultimate from there.
Vince Lombardi summed it up - ''Perfection is not attainable, but in aiming for perfection we can catch excellence.'' (From Famous Quotes spoken by Vince Lombardi, historical American football coach. 1913 – 1970)
Good judgement is required to recognise and accept excellence as a foundation to work from and improve upon.
Not let obsession take command and obscure the fact that life is not to endlessly dream about – but lived.
Do you often procrastinate to make an action, to approach a certain person because you think the moment is not yet perfect?
Do you wait and wait to launch a new project because it is not quite to your nit-picking satisfaction, or the skills required are not good enough?
Do you analyse and revise the same task over and over because the result is not perfect in your eyes?
Vince Lombardi went on to say there is a difference between (1) aiming at perfection to get better, compared to (2) aiming at perfection and accepting nothing less - The latter is a trap – an endless road to nowhere.
So better to let go of the perfection vision, make mistakes, learn and grow?

I always find perfection in the imperfections of live, the random stuff, one example: some funny glitches in games others might find annoing. I often tend to like them.

Which is why perfection is elusive. So difficult to define to suit all.

Analyzing the excellent closing of your post with the question:
I can say that it is the most accurate question, since we as a person can not perceive if we are perfect and I believe that we will never do it. However, as you say they perfect it in the eye of the spectator, we are people as we can say under a criterion sometimes without having to establish that it is for you the perfect, we simply evaluate it and according to our criteria we launch an opinion saying that it has perfection or not.
