Air-Clinic Contest: The Quest to Make Ends Meet: Adventures of a Street Boy.
Consulting for a client early this month.
The quest to make ends meet is unlimited, This quest is only limited by the inevitable turn of death.
For me, I starting this quest as early as 11 years old. This was my first adventure with the tides of life struggles. I earned the first coin in my life two years later (at 13), it was then my eyes were opened to the realties of life. I once told a friend of mine,
"I am not married but I live like a married man"
why the statement?
I hail from a nuclear family of ten (10) where I happen to be the first son. Presently, my parents are aging; I help my siblings the best way I can; as I constantly struggle in my collar identity to make ends meet.
Working hard on a project
How did I get here today?
Truly a story for another day, but briefly, I will let you in.
I am a street boy, a hussler, who started early enough to make ends meet in the bushes of Abuja, now a city. I practically worked my way through to pay my school fees in secondary school in few occasions. I worked on sites, construction site, first as bricklayer assistant, then as a bricklayer and artesian in my university days which assisted with my personal bills. I have undertaken road projects, houses, and even Federal contracts through my small trade. Presently I am into real estate consultancy and business development and have registered my company awaiting the right time to release all these over 18years experience. All these are possible because I learnt all I could.
Supervising a project in obubra LGA, Cross River state.
What are some solutions that help me make ends meet?
I was ready to learn all you can.
Know the amount of knowledge i needed to succeed.
Work hard to be independent.
Turned my skills and talents into enterprise.
Ten years ago I told a friend that I will be the next big thing to happen in Africa, everyday I am still struggling to make this happen.
