With magnetic coupling to the Sun being very strong at the moment we have elevated earthquake risk globally. Meanwhile in Anchorage, Alaska- Strong winds today pushed an ash cloud from an Alaska volcano into the heart of the state, grounding flights and limiting travel to western and northern communities off the road system. Pavlof Volcano, one of Alaska's most active volcanoes, is 625 miles southwest of Anchorage on the Alaska Peninsula, the finger of land that sticks out from mainland Alaska toward the Aleutian Islands.The volcano in the 8,261-foot mountain erupted about 4 p.m. Sunday, spitting out an ash cloud that rose to 20,000 feet.

I live in El Salvador right now and we just have been having some crazy lightning and great and scary thunder for the last few days and some scary winds too, but that is all here now days.

Here in Costa Rica life is good, although there is a general strike: All of Costa Rica’s public unions have joined the strike as well as some private sector unions. Those protesting tomorrow will include students, teachers, medical workers, telecommunications employees, municipal employees, and transportation workers. This does not effect me to too much as I am far from town - it is another sunny beautiful day, and we are blessed with good rain most nights.
Here in Aceh the atmosphere is safe and blessed with light rain,
at this time in the area where I live the community here again harvests rice.
