Today particle physicists conducting experiments using the Hadron Collider in Cern believe that the earliest stage of the universe was fluid - but only for a few microseconds! Back on Earth there has been some serious flooding in France and Yemen. Here in Costa Rica it is the rainy season so we are getting daily deluges... but all is well - we have so many trees here that the land can deal with incredible amounts of rain water with little or no problem generally. Thanks for the update. I saw the dreadful state France was left in yesterday and feel very relieved to have avoided the terrible weather in many parts of Europe right now.
Here in Spain so far things have been pretty calm and sunshine prevailing.

Same in South Wales, UK. Some heavy flooding with some houses almost up to the first floor ceilings, but no loss of life that I am aware of, thankfully.
