Enjoy your own company.
I have always avoided spending time alone as much as possible. I would just be unhappy when it comes to me staying alone in the house. Sometimes I even avoid going home until it’s time to get some sleep for the next day.
I know there are other people who feel like this. Many of us try to avoid spending time alone and fill the silence with distractions.
We don’t like being immersed in our own thoughts, or try to be comfortable with who we really are. My excuse for not wanting to be alone is I’ll get bored.
I’ll choose going out and come back tired to just staying alone.
For some people, being alone is easy and something that they enjoy doing. For others it can be a difficult thing to do.
Spending time alone with yourself, without distractions, is important as it opens up space for deep and real thoughts to come through. It helps us discover what we have been trying to cover up.
It also lets us become who we really are when we listen to our inner voice and intuition.
Don’t ever count on other people or a single person to make you happy.Giving someone else the key to your happiness is a mistake. Nobody can make you happy except yourself.
How to enjoy your own company.
1. Be in an Environment where you really want to be.
Make your environment a place where you want to spend time and relax.
Surround yourself only with things that you love.
2.Discover what you really want to do or have always wanted to do.
Having that alone time can help you find out what you really want to do. It helps you reflect on whether you are really doing what you have always wanted to do.
3.Delve into the creative side of you.
When you are alone you will have time to nurture and grow your creative side. There are so many things people don’t know they can do, or they haven’t had the chance to do them.
Take time to get to know who you are. We never give ourselves enough time in a day to have a relationship with ourselves and because of that many of us don’t even know who we are.Don’t allow
your personality be overshadowed by the people you spend the most time with.
Love yourself first.
Thank you for sharing, you are so true. If we keep ourselves surrounding by other people, we probably end up living up to their expectations. Nothing wrong with being inspired by others of course. But if you are able to enjoy your own company, you are one step closer to love yourself. Followed you!

I am considered a loner too but it helps me to be myself.

I think the key point, is to be alone but not lonely.
Being alone might be dangerous to people with depressive tendencies.
