Under The Surface

In this moment of human history, a new wave is rising. Human empowerment. People are waking up to the fact that they have a voice. And even more importantly, they have a right to use it. (And it matters!)

I want to stress the fact that this is great. I would even go as far as calling it awesome. But in my view, we are in danger of drifting into the other end of the spectrum. Where we don't even consider what we share. It's all about content creation, blogs, sharing, hashtags etc. Bla blah blah basically.

There's also something else going on under the surface.

We have forgotten the deep art of listening. Listening to someone, truly listening to them requires presence. It requires slowing down and taking time for someone else.

If You look at it more deeply, it's taking time for Yourself.

I invite You to do Your best to listen to someone. To slow down, breathe and take it all in. One of the greatest gifts You can give someone, is the gift of Your deep presence. Something I truly want more in this world.
