Thoughts of the Day 001 | 3 Principles to keep your day even more brighter : Keep the Sense of Humor, Love Always, Have Faith.
Our life is always a journey towards good and bad and a constant battle against nothingness. We are always prompted to make decisions and choices in our daily life. With this reality we may ask ourselves, how then can we live a better life when we are always hunted with two extremes and constantly prompted to make decisions in every circumstances we are in?
Most of us find it hard to live a better life, I personally find it hard too. Yet, in all my experiences in life I realized some helpful principles that helps us understand the beauty of life. Today, I am going to share the first 3 principles that I find very significant to our existence.
1. KEEP THE SENSE OF HUMOR
I’d like to quote the line from my former Director in Seminary Fr. Christopher Salonga, he said...
“Happiness is choice! There is no road to Happiness, Happiness is the road.”
Sometimes it’s so hard to choose to be happy when things are pressing you down, when uncontrollable circumstances take its toll. But you know, happiness is a noble task of our own self. When you are happy everything appears to be smoothly running. Most of the time we are sad because we are worried on something, basically it’s a negative impulse in life that makes us unhappy. It actually help us generate positive thoughts and attracts positive energy. It’s as if heals your day. No matter what life brings always learn to smile, always keep the sense of humor because it is healing beyond magic.
2. LOVE ALWAYS
The most beautiful gift that you can give is to your family, to the community where you belong and to the people close to you is your LOVE.
Make yourself the Greatest and the Most Loving person because this is what you are going to give to the people around you.The more you give love, the more you will be filled with it. Keep loving, it costs nothing but it means everything.
3. FAITH: Believe in yourself
A man with strong faith will never be shaken. The world we live in is not always the world we expect to be. There are circumstance where you are being tested.
There are events in your life where you find yourself hopeless and helpless. But there is a saying that goes “Storms won’t last a lifetime”. All trying moments will always end, maybe you have said this line to yourself “..this too will pass!”
But have your ever ask yourself this questions...
What made me last this long?
What is it in me that help me standstill throughout the trying times in my life?
This is a beautiful questions to reflect on.
Faith is the answer. When you have enough belief and trust to yourself, you will eventually have enough strength to go on and to fight for your dreams.
