Which languages would you love to learn and why?

French

First, I love the language but have never had the time to learn it. I once heard someone speak the language and it was beautiful.

Secondly, I hear it's a good language for poetry. Back in school, we used to study French poems that were translated into English. We learned that the English language doesn't always convey the true essence of the poem

Lastly, my country (Nigeria) is surrounded by French speaking countries. Knowing the language will fu I've me the opportunity to travel to these countries and learn about their culture.
