Do you know what's nice?
What's nice is the feeling of serene skies and calm oceans.
What's nice is when your mind isn't waging war against you.
What's nice is when you finally feel this sense of happiness and you know you deserve it.
What's nicer is you worked so hard and it payed off.
And you'll have days where the trauma of war comes back to haunt you.
You'll have days when paranoia tears you apart,
And brutal thoughts keep you awake.
But what's nice is when you know you can bring yourself back from any kind of hell the world or any other celestial power has to offer.
And what's amazing is even if you've got the entire world against you, you know you'll have yourself to back you up.
And those few people who are as stubborn as you and will insist on staying no matter how far you push them.

It's such a nice feeling. To be free.
