So You Don't Have The Best Things In Life? Look In Front Of You

Being Resourceful

Someone is smarter than you. Someone has more money than you. Someone is a much better artist than you. The point is that someone will always be better at something or have "better" things than you. It's also very discouraging when we always compare what we have to what others have but that won't be the lesson for today class. The theme instead will be something much more simple but yet profound.

If you have a grain of salt, you have something. If you have air to breathe, you have something. If you have $1 dollar in your wallet or purse, you have something. The trap is thinking that you need all the bells and whistles in life in order to make an impact. Truthfully and honestly you don't. We all have something to give as I have stated in the past and even more so we all have something we can use. My nugget of wisdom to you today is this.

USE WHAT YOU GOT UNTIL YOU GET TO WHERE YOU'RE GOING

--- or simply put ---

USE WHAT YOU GOT

This topic is a big deal to me because in my life I have done my best to always use what I have and to try to make things work even in the worse situations. Specifically in this video I am referring to creating content but this is a much bigger life lesson to digest. Right now I am using an 11 year old slow rendering computer to edit videos and write content. I use my S7 Edge to record videos. I am not a social media expert and as a matter of fact I loathed it prior to joining Steemit. Many times I have no clue what I'm doing. I can point to so many other things that I am not versed in or do not have but still I find a way.

I want to fire you up right now. Look around you. What do you have at your disposal? What is it? How can you use it? You may not have the best this or that but you got what you got. Learn to be a good steward with the little things you have until you can handle the BIGGER things. Be resourceful with what you have. Be creative. Have fun while you're doing it too! Peace to you.

Are you making the best out of what you have?

That's a great encouragement! There will always be someone who has "more" or "better" than we do. That's because we all seem to place value on things that we don't have. Rather than being thankful for what we do have, we yearn for things we don't. Even professional athletes who have lots of money and fame can be jealous of everyday people who have healthy bodies.

The key is to be thankful for what we have.

Right on my friend. Hard lesson to learn at times but we need to learn that.

For every strong person - there is a person who is even stronger. For every clever one, there is someone who is even smarter. This is a normal phenomenon and it must be understood.
Many people have the opportunity to live well, but they do not understand this. Machine propaganda works by the principle - more mean better. The consumption society aspires to that to receive as much as possible. We are motivated to buy unnecessary things and commit rash acts.
The reality is that first, you need to appreciate what we have. We have a roof over our heads and we are full, so we are already richer than many other people who are less fortunate.
We need to work on our strengths. Every person has things that he does well. I think that these skills should be developed.
Sometimes it is necessary to look back at the windows, to see the beauty of nature, to feel the taste of real life. We need to set goals, but at the same time appreciate what we have.
You have heard a phrase that "to get something, you must first give it away." This is the basic law of the universe of energy exchange, which states that "life is present where there is an exchange." For example, to become rich, you must help another person become rich.
You show a good example. To appreciate what we have and develop our skills, I think this is a good recipe.

I wonder if the consumption societies cave in on themselves eventually because it is unsustainable in the long term.

Using what you have to start, lets you create your own brand. That highlights who you are. Your uniqueness is your best asset. As a bonus, others can follow your journey and see how you improve over time.

And it is so cool to watch someone develop and become a much better version of themselves. I love that.

Well yes buddy ,I completely agree with you buddy !

While will sure take your advice and always appreciate your words buddy !

I do am constantly working on the things that I have been doing wrong and trying my best to get to improve on that :)

Thanks to you ,you have been a lot of support :)

I say thanks to you and make the best of what you have.

Gladly will !

You nailed it bro!
The best things in our lives are absolutely free. Look at the air, sunlight, environment and water and much more these are the costliest things in the universe which we are getting for free.
We all have very precious things we must appreciate for getting best out of these. Health is the most precious thing we have and its not a small thin at all.
I really appreciate your vision and attitude about giving what you have. The more we share with others the more we get. Everything increases manifold if shared.
I have heard in my young days that "great people are like fertile fields they return ten times over than they receive." You are among them without any doubt.
Thank you @humanearl for giving such a precious advice to think on it.

Isn't that crazy!!!?? The most vital things in life are free.

That's so true. Start with where you are. Use what you got.

Happy easter to you and the beautiful fam brotha!

You are blessed!
God is with you Brother Earl.

That is truly a blessing to know that.

Life doesn't always hand us solutions to go with the problems we encounter. If you are in a pinch, sometimes all you need is a bit of creativity to get through it. Being resourceful means solving problems with what you have and doing more with less.

The better you become at solving problems the less worries I believe you become as well.

its all about making the best with best resources we have got life is truly success in that means only not in the way when other gives us the resources we have to learn to live the life its an art that can only be learnt with experience

Yes. Be resourceful and become better at solving problems.

Everyone has him/herself which they can improve with willpower. You can build some serious discipline, you can get stronger just using your, you can be courageous by just daring and looking fear into the eye.

Everything great that was made by humans was created because the individuals that created that great work were smart humans.

You can become smart by reading on the internet or in books, costs almost nothing for us and everyone here on Steemit has it.

We have more power in ourselves than we can comprehend.

Working the muscles of the mind I'd say.
