To quote a middle ages thinker and early scientist William of Conches "God could turn a cow into a tree, but did He ever actually do it?", I think it would amuse me greatly turning cows into trees, then just for the fun of it, turn them back again :)
That did make me chuckle. That would be fun to watch - the expression on their faces!
