Massive Action - You Gotta Love What You Do if You're Gonna Make it on Your Own.

in #life6 years ago

There's a few different ways to say it:

"You gotta love what you do 'cause that's the only way you're going to get real good at it."
Yes indeed, if you're going to make it big, you need to be more than just good - you need to be better than most (or all).

"Do what you love and find a way to make money doing it."
Some kid on Shark Tank said that, and I have it (humbly) tied for #1 with my own sage advice - which, succinctly, is become your own expert and trust yourself as such (especially goes for traders and investors).

To continue with unattributable quotes, it is said that "The way to be more successful than others is to do what most others aren't willing to do." Ultimately, that means massive action.

Hi Steemians, I'm @holsturr.

TLDR: Many entrepreneurs say you need to love what you do and be willing to do what others won't in order to realize your dreams. What that boils down to is massive action.

It's a lot easier to start work at 4:30 AM if you love what you're doing.

In the absence of some life-threatening situation, most people aren't going to get out of bed with a pep in their step at four in the morning. And in the absence of compensation for their time, most people aren't going to labor, and rightfully so. But for entrepreneurs just starting out, long hours with little to no monetary reward is often the case. When you add in the risk, abuse, and uncertainty that usually comes with starting a business, its no wonder that most beginning businesspeople fail early and frequently.

So how do newborn entrepreneurs survive their early lives? The answer is massive action without expectation of reward.

The vast majority of people simply aren't willing to do what is necessary to achieve success. That's a good thing for people who are willing to do what's needed to see their businesses through. Massive action - relentless, unyielding, constant and continuous actions taken towards building a business - is the only way to succeed.

It really helps if you love what you're doing.

It's common knowledge that you can get paid to play video games. You can even get paid to watch porn. If you love it, and you're good at it (or willing to get good), you can probably make money doing it. I didn't believe it at first, but it really is true. When you add in the fact that it takes massive action to launch a company, and you might have to be willing to get up at 4 AM if that's what your company needs from you, you might have to be willing to work 18 hours with no compensation for your time (and perhaps no compensation in the near future), it really helps if you're into what you're doing. If not, you may not be willing to do what's needed to put you in the top tier of your field (or life itself).

💰✨Remember… Every single person is their own trusted expert and seeking to promote yourself in that role is vital today, now more than ever.
