RE: ADSactly Life: Shut Down and Restart

in #life5 years ago

Great reflection.

It seems ironic that a society where disconnection to the Internet is a tragedy, a nightmare for anyone, is also a society that has disconnection with more important things, such as reality, family, the environment.

It seems to be trendy now, ironically after so many struggles to reach legislation to regulate working hours, that most companies subject their workers to 12 or more hours of work to barely reach minimum wage. We hear the stories of our friends and relatives who have left the country and are working in other latitudes, and the question remains: what do we do with the human being? how do we demand quality and efficiency from a mind that is exhausted?
Doctors are forced to work 48 or more hours straight and we don't want them to make mistakes. Because of work stress beople have emotional problems with family and friends, which in turn affect their work life, but we expect them to be robots and perform flawlessly regardless.
It's a bizarre world we live in

Sort:

It looks like science fiction, but it's not! We work to live, but we kill ourselves working. Meaningless! Man has forgotten that he is flesh and blood, and so there are those who believe themselves to be iron and infallible and in the end the body inevitably takes its toll. Always with accurate and interesting comments, @hlezama. Thank you. ;)
