RE: ADSactly Life: Dreams deciphered
Great story. Fascinating topic.
Dreams are a real puzzle, like life after death, we'll probably never know what lies behind them.
I try not to think too much about dreams, as you suggest at the end, if they are some sort of message we should take seriously, shouldn't they be clearer and more consistent, so that we do not disregard them as figments of our imagination or simple echoes of our daily thoughts and deeds?
Of course, for those who believe, mysticism, mistery, enigma, hidden messages is all part of the language of higher forces or powers. Gods are too above ourselves to speak n the smae plain language. Only under certain conditions would the gods reveal to certain people in certain ways, and so on and so forth.
I've dreamed beautiful things, and also horrible ones, most of them as echoes of things past. Thus far, I have not had a dream that I can remeber years later as a premonition or revelation of sorts.
Dreams have always seemed magical to me, almost mysterious. I believe that behind them there is a part of us that hides and is unconscious. I did have premonitory dreams, but I almost always remember them when the event explodes in my face and it's too late. Thank you very much for your comment, always so complete and interesting.
