Why Pope Benedict insulted Islam again

The patience of Muslims continues to be tested with various Western insults, ranging from the case of Prophet Muhammad's cartoons that are now spreading again in Denmark, to Pope Benedict XVI's tendentious claims about jihad in Islam and the figure of the Prophet Muhammad some time ago. Cases that invite Muslim anger this raises the question of why this humiliation is often experienced by Muslims. The issue of integration, tolerance and dialogue seems to be a service lips merely because of the fact that Muslims and Islam is always the target of humiliation and hatred.
In September 2005, the humiliation of Rasulullah SAW surfaced through caricatures in a magazine in Denmark. After that the humiliation of the Prophet SAW continues rolling like snow and extends through caricature or paper and writing until mid-2006 now. One year went by - as if not and has not been satisfied with the earlier humiliation - in September 2006, the humiliation resumed. As if they wanted to continue to provoke the Muslims' wrath. It is ironic that the necessary dialogue between religions is precisely the provocation.
It turned out that the attacks and criticism of Islam and the Muslims never stopped.
A few weeks ago, for example, the right-wing intellectuals of the United States insulted Islam with the saying that Islam is Fascist. This then became the political speech of US President George W Bush who became a hot issue in the land of uncle Syam.
On 12 September 2006, a day after the September 11 anniversary warning - instead of taking the sympathy of Muslims - Pope Benedict XVI - a supreme leader of the world's catholic people - in his scientific speech at the university of Regensburg in Germany, again repeated insults to Islam for the umpteenth time. Scientific lecture on the theme of "correlation between faith and logic and the importance of dialogue between civilization and religion" was the content of the lecture was very far from the theme. His lecture does not contain the dialogue with Muslims as the second largest religion in the world, just the opposite which it expresses only an insult to the very things purified in Islam. In his lecture Pope Benedict XVI quotes the 14th century Orthodox Emperor of the Emperor Emperor Manuel II Palaeologus which is a clear insult and condemnation of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad.
In his lecture, Pope Benedict XVI quotes the contents of one of history's books on the importance of God's proof through logic. But all that is quoted by Pope Benedict XVI is an unprovoked condemnation and insult to Prophet Muhammad and to Islam.
After a few days of his remarks, on September 16-17, Pope Benedict XVI explained what he said earlier that he thought he was simply quoting the statements of others and Muslims misunderstanding the context he quoted and he regretted with the rise of Muslim anger which he claimed to be infringing the nature of his ideology.
Such an explanation is not to alleviate the earlier humiliation instead of even insulting Muslims who he thinks misunderstood what he said as if Muslims are stupid and do not understand the context of a conversation. The following is the opinion of DR Yusuf Al-Qardhawi Chairman of the International Islamic Scholars Association and the opinion of some other Islamic scholars and even international Christian leaders who all argue that there are some fatal faults of Pope Benedict XVI in some points below:
Pope Benedict XVI in his lecture cited a long dialogue describing the humiliation of Islam that Islam was propagated by violence and sword, and that the Prophet did not at all bring goodness except the teachings of shaitan and inhumanity and many more insults were quoted as contained by Vatican website on the internet.
The problem is, that in intellectual ethics, when a researcher cites an opinion of another person and he does not respond to either agree or disagree with the opinion then basically the quotes agree. This means Pope Benedict XVI agrees with contempt for Islam as he quotes from the dialogue.
From the media side, according to one of the leading newspapers in the United States, should Pope Benedict XVI realize that he did not give a lecture in a theology class like he had done a few years ago, he also had to realize that he did not speak in front of a dozen of his students in a limited classes. On such occasions, he has the right to speak whatever he wants. But now he must realize, he is no longer a theology lecturer and religious history but he is the supreme leader of the Catholic religion.
From this incident, it seems that Pope Benedict XVI needs a spokesperson and media bureau in order to direct the course of useful conversations on sensitive matters in the event of a crisis of relations between Muslims and some major countries. To quote in such a way is completely unscientific, non-intellectual and useless from the media side.
It is impossible for Pope Benedict XVI not to know Islam at all. Because he is a supreme religious leader. Yet with a quote from a history book that has been more than 600 years ago is very insulting to Islam and Muslims.
Even in later explanations he says that Muslims misunderstand the context he quotes as if Muslims are stupid and do not understand something. The same answers and explanations have been expressed by caricature makers who insulted Islam a year ago. At that time the caricature maker explained that such a caricature is a right of freedom of expression and that Muslims do not understand the world of caricatures. It is as if they want to say that Muslims are so backward in politics that they should teach Muslims about democracy and freedom according to their version. According to them also that Muslims are also backward in scientific creativity, then they should teach it to Muslims about absolute freedom as in caricatures. According to them Muslims are stupid in science, then they should teach about science, logic, civilization and even about the ideology of religion. Is it possible that they will teach Muslims about all these things by Pope Benedict XVI? It is as if Muslims are backward and will go forward if they agree with their contempt for Islam.
Is this what they call us religious Islam destructive, raping women and their daughters. Is this what you call our religion a rebel or a terrorist? Is this what you call us selfish people.
