Quality Is King (Influencing The World To Deliver Quality In All Aspects)

in #life6 years ago

Quality is king.

That's the honest reality that we live in.

The nicer something is, the more its valued at, the more people want it, etc...

Which isn't a bad thing.

There's a dichotomy between having items available to the masses and having quality goods for the select few.

But, it doesn't have to be this way, and it shouldn't be that way.

Here's what I mean.

The Evolution Of Quality

It started with some form of value.

Something someone liked at some point.

They dove into the material, researched, refined and recreated whatever this object or item was.

Maybe it was food, a purse, clothing, etc...

It really doesn't matter what is achievable it matters that the quality of it continued to be better.

And thus, people caught on and wanted it.

It became something unique, something individual, and something of worth.

The first person to craft golden jewelry was probably hailed as the most significant jewelry maker ever, for a time, until the quality jumped up again.

We even see this in the health industry where the science and protocols are getting more specific, and what we think health is becoming more quality based.

Now, the problem is that everyone can't have the highest quality because it is cutting-edge and refined times over.

There will always be leftover goods, which aren't high in quality, but available for the masses.

Leaving us with a question.

Can We Scale Quality To The Masses?

Herein lies the problem.

One that is evident among the 99% and 1%, or more specifically the 99.9% and the .01%

There are two sides to the problem.

One is that there are too many people in the world, which makes it impossible to scale quality to the masses.

The other, the one I agree with, is that people aren't trying for quality.

Now, there are many ways to approach this, and I'm not saying trying to survive and not having quality is a bad thing, but the thought of scaling quality is something we need to think about.

Because similar to my previous article on small business staying great vs. scaling and becoming powerful, this is a matter of proximity and output.

Expanding quality, in each business, to the broadest amount that it can be, while holding that quality is the most important aspect.

This allows businesses to stay great and cheaper while giving people access to quality goods.

A simple paradigm to live by.

There is a greed in this world, and it comes down to the dollar.

Leading to the next point.

What Your Buy is How You Vote

Any time you give money to something you are voting.

partition.

I mean quite literally there's evidence wars are created for money, companies grow for money, and prostitutes do their due diligence to get money.

We are creatures so absorbed in the artificial inflation of value that we seek it out.

At all times and by all means.

We don't realize the brevity of the money we spend.

When you give value to John instead of Jim, you are voting for John.

And that plays out in all businesses.

Okay, Austin where are you going with this?

Using your dollar as a vote seems hard at first, but it is a simple way anyone can change the world.

Spend Your Money on Quality, and The World Will Produce It

Let's walk through a quick purchase.

You buy a cup of single origin Ethiopian coffee from a local roaster.

Where does that money go?

First, off it goes to the business.

They partion it to the employees, the roaster and the community with the taxes they pay.

Then it goes to the Ethiopian farm, its farmers and the production of these luxurious beans.

Being fair-trade they are being paid a sufficient amount, and thus the farmer continues research to make higher quality beans, making a better cup of coffee.

Or you could have bought some type of dirty water like Folgers.

But, the whole process works only to feed Folgers, not the farmer and certainly not an evolution of its quality.

This is how you change the world (besides by using thoughts.)

Use your dollar wisely, and we can help create a world backed by quality.

What about all the people who can't find quality.

Start with yourself.

You probably can buy something higher quality, local, organic, produced for wear and tear, etc...

This is a start.

Because the more that people see it's profitable to be I the business of high-quality items the more it attracts other businesses.

And this repeats until everyone has availability to it.

Yes, I live in a world where everything is acheiveable.

Buy quality, live better, influence the world.
