Staying fired up

Hello Steemians! Another weekend is upon us and I want to implore us to remain fired up, and if we have not started to light ourselves up the time is upon us now. Fire is an important element, its combination of heat and light makes is powerful. Fire can be used to refine or purify, it is also to be noted that it can be used to destroy.

I am not saying we should light yourself up with fire, not at all. I am saying that we need to get ignited: remould, revamp and also to reshape. This is because there are unnecessary loads we have attached ourselves to that needs to be thrown out. The bad habits that has been dragging us and slowing the momentum, they need to be pruned.

There are some areas in our lives that needs fire, that needs us switching ON the ignition. I would share with us 5 of such areas:

1. Discipline: keep up with your schedules, burn off the shafts and excesses. When you walk, let it be with a sense of purpose. Do not just do anything that pleases you, let all the things you do be in line with your goals and mission. Let you longing for the fulfilment of your goals wake you up and not your alarm clock. Hold firm to the disciplined lifestyle.

2. Passion: keep your passion burning! Let everyone that comes in contact with you feel the passion. It has to be fuelled continuously not a one time thing. Let positive vibes ooze out of you, create the pulse.

3. Vision: keep the ignition ON on this, do not relent on your vision. Speak it out and let your actions conform with it. Keep the vision lighted up, there should be enough fire to stop burn off every chaff of distraction. When a task arise and it is a step closer to making your vision a reality.

4. Gifts: Make use of your gift(s) on a regular, do not relent. It is possible to have more than one gift, do let it get blunt. Always keep it pruned. Show case it to the world and if there are no platforms to showcase it, create one! It is a free world and if you are getting frustrated and you want to stop, remember there is someone out there that would get blessed with your gift.

5. Giving: Givers never lack, giving is an opportunity to get blessed. Do not elude yourself of the avenue to get blessed, give! It does not have to be money, there are a lot to give; resources, time, support, sincere compliment and the likes. Always look for an avenue to give, stay fired up in your giving.
