Five things to do to stay happy
Hello steemians, happiness is very important to someone’s life. It makes life better and also makes it worth living. We should make sure we do all things possible to hold onto happiness.
These are five things to do in order to stay happier:
Smiling: This facial expression is to indicate or denote happiness. When the habit of smiling is adopted, we tend to be happy. It is advised to make smiling our default facial expression, the more we smile the more happier we get. So keep smiling!
Exercise: This is done mainly to enhance or maintain physical fitness, it is also done to treat insomnia and in the process increasing the quality of sleep. Generally, the more we exercise the more satisfied we are about our body. Satisfaction then brings happiness. Picture yourself with the body you have always dreamt of and you see yourself happy.
Meditation: It is a practice where someone focuses his/her mind on a particular object, thought or activity to achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state. Meditation is a useful tool in reducing depression, when meditation is reduced happiness sets in. It is advised to meditate once in a while as it clears the head of all negativity.
Follow your passion: This brings both joy and happiness. The more we do what we love, the more fulfilled we feel. It is a natural way of staying happy. Follow your passion and love what you do, then watch happiness flow.
Help others: People do not pay attention to this, and it is a good way of being happy. Especially if the person help is rendered to happens to be family or a loved one. Help someone today and be happy you are of usefulness to someone.
Try doing these five things more and watch happiness flow in like a river.
