Five things a leader should learn.

Hello steemians! I should have made this post earlier but I thought Monday is the day to drop this.

We all are leaders, we are created to be one. We lead one way or the other even if it is not profound.

These are just 5 basic things we ought to learn how:

1. Team work: Every leader should know that he/she can not do every single thing alone, attempting to do so would lead to burn out. Leaders that has learnt and has understanding of teamwork knows that one can have more than 24 hours in a day!
   Yes you read right, more than 24 hours.
   Look at this example; If a leader should distribute task to a group of five and each one uses 6 hours on the task, that is 30hours of work. The leader has done a job of 30hours in a day.

2. Never criticize in public: A good leader should have his tongue under control, every word uttered to his/ her followers is very important. The leaded might just think it is normal, in the real sense it is not. If it is necessary to criticize, it should be in private. But praise should be done in public, this would add to the morale of the followers.

3. Harnessing ideas of the followers: This is a good thing to know how to do, this makes the followers feel carried along. The more the followers see that their leader is considering and working on their ideas, the more the sense of involvement they have. Increases their level of commitment and productivity too.

4. Persevere: A leader must know how not to give up, the eyes must be on the prize always. This does not mean he should be stubborn about things, but rather having a flexible plan while staying rigid to the goal.

5. God: This is very important, a good leader should know God comes first. He should teach his followers how to put God first too, as the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

All these are just the basic things we assume we already do, we need to check once more and make the necessary corrections.
