I love the m3 e30. A former coworker has one with a 300 hp 2,7l köhler engine. Fully race prepped. It is a rocket ;)

If I remember correctly you take the forged crank and exhaust manifold from the diesel version put that on the 2.5 with a the Turbo from a Saab and you would be about there on the HP. Also dont forget the LSD from the AWD E30.

Brings back a lot of memories, I drove a 324td almost 25 years ago, fantastic car. They still look great today IMO.
